Our monthly coming together to knit, crochet, sew or embroider. During this edition we will also host a fishing net Mending project by Anastasia Eggers.

Last year, fishing as a profession came to its end in the city in Rotterdam, when Peter De Man, the last professional fisherman working in the city, passed away. Anastasia Eggers has ben archiving the traces of his practice – one that implies an act of care for the river. In preparation to bid farewell to fisheries in Rotterdam that will take place at Buitenplaats Brienenoord on July 11th, Stitch 'n Bitch will host a session in which we will come together to mend one of the last nets that came in contact with the fish in the Maas.
