My name is Stéphane Béna Hanly, I am a Dublin-based multidisciplinary artist working primarily through sculpture and performance. My practice revolves around story telling by animating physical fabricated objects through performative actions turning them into props and set pieces. This process often gives way to unanticipated revelations leading to irresistible immersions into absurd scenarios resulting in further fabrication allowing this cycle of creativity to renew. Previously I broadcast immersive fictional programmes on Dublin Digital Radio (2022) and most recently performed An Experimental Sculptural Demonstration at The Pearse Centre, Dublin(2025).

Mijn naam is Stéphane Béna Hanly. Ik ben een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar uit Dublin en werk voornamelijk met sculptuur en performance. Mijn werk draait om het vertellen van verhalen door fysieke, gefabriceerde objecten te animeren via performatieve acties, waardoor ze rekwisieten en decorstukken worden. Dit proces leidt vaak tot onverwachte onthullingen die een onweerstaanbare onderdompeling in absurde scenario's teweegbrengen, wat resulteert in verdere fabricage en zo een cyclus van creativiteit mogelijk maakt. Eerder presenteerde ik immersieve fictieprogramma's op Dublin Digital Radio (2022) en meest recentelijk voerde ik een experimentele sculptuur demonstratie uit in het Pearse Centre in Dublin(2025).
