Once in a while, we open this space to makers, builders, thinkers, doers and movers. People like YOU!

The upcoming rehearsals in 2025 will take place on May 31, Sept. 13 and Oct. 25 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Each rehearsal day has a theme, with walk-in workshops, which you can use as a guide to get inspired for making.

It is a residency for a long day on the island. We challenge you to come up with a plan. On this day, our space is yours - so use it! Think big! Bring what you need! But note: there are no obligations, nothing has to happen. There is: space to make sound (music), mess around, think about your relationship to nature, discuss, swim, play and exist. We have room for a limited crowd, so don't wait too long to sign up!

Lunch and dinner is included, and we cook dinner collectively. We aim to create an intimate world for a while, where phones do not exist. The day starts early: creating only happens when we are present.

Boundaries

A real or imaginary limit- in which spheres do we encounter boundaries? How do they impact the personal, the political, the natural? To what extent do we let these dictate our behaviour, our norms and our systems?

We round up We Came From the Future this year by inviting you to explore this theme with us and others. What do boundaries truly mean for you, how do they manifest themselves in your life? How can you rethink them?

Een echte of denkbeeldige grens – in welke domeinen komen we grenzen tegen? Welke invloed hebben ze op het persoonlijke, het politieke, het natuurlijke? In hoeverre laten we ons gedrag, onze normen en onze systemen hierdoor bepalen?

We sluiten We Came From the Future dit jaar af door u uit te nodigen om samen met ons en anderen dit thema te verkennen. Wat betekenen grenzen echt voor u, hoe manifesteren ze zich in uw leven? Hoe kunt u ze heroverwegen?
