Yellow days, yellow haze is een meeslepende installatievoorstelling waarin dans, beeldende kunst en muziek samenkomen. De performers bewegen uitsluitend op en over elkaar, waarbij hun fysieke nabijheid contrasteert met emotionele afstand. Zo ontstaat spanning tussen samen bestaan en langs elkaar heen leven. Door voortdurend contact vervaagt onderscheid tussen performers en ruimte; alles wordt gelijkwaardig benaderd. Vragen als: waar mag je ruimte innemen, en hoe leven we samen op dezelfde grond zonder elkaar te zien, komen naar voren. Het werk onderzoekt fysieke, mentale en emotionele grond. Door bewust te vertragen en radicale aandacht te cultiveren, ontstaat ruimte voor zien en voelen.

Peeled Collective is een interdisciplinair danstheatercollectief dat zowel zichzelf als het publiek uitdaagt tot kwetsbaarheid. In hun werk onderzoeken zij vragen zonder eenduidige antwoorden en creëren ze ruimte voor reflectie en bewustwording.  Het werk kenmerkt zich door het combineren van dans, tekst, beeldende kunst, muziek en theater. Peeled Collective werd opgericht door Emma Hanekroot en Emma Versluys, beiden afgestudeerd aan de Fontys Dance Academy (Bachelor Contemporary Dance, 2021).

Yellow days, yellow haze is an immersive installation performance where dance, visual art and music come together. Performers move exclusively on and across each other, their physical closeness contrasting with emotional distance. This creates tension between coexisting and living past one another. Continuous contact blurs the distinction between performers and space; everything is treated equally. Questions arise: where can you take up space, and how do we live on the same ground without seeing each other? The work explores physical, mental and emotional ground. By slowing down and cultivating radical attention, space for seeing and feeling emerges.

Peeled Collective is an interdisciplinary dance theatre collective that challenges both itself and the audience to vulnerability. In their work, they explore questions without clear answers and create space for reflection and awareness.  Their work is characterized by the intertwining of dance, text, visual art, music, and theatre. Peeled Collective was founded by Emma Hanekroot and Emma Versluys, both graduates of the Fontys Dance Academy (Bachelor Contemporary Dance, 2021).
